About the Role We are looking for an experienced
DevOps Engineer to help build, manage, and scale our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and deployment workflows. This is a remote position based in India and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a startup environment with ownership, flexibility, and strong growth potential. The candidate should have hands-on experience with
AWS cloud infrastructure ,
GitLab CI/CD pipelines ,
Terraform , and modern DevOps practices. Familiarity with
Golang is also preferred, especially for automation, tooling, and backend service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on
AWS .
- Build and manage
GitLab CI/CD pipelines for application deployment, testing, and release automation.
- Use
Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, logs, and system performance.
- Improve deployment reliability, scalability, and security.
- Work with development teams to support application builds, releases, and production operations.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks.
- Manage cloud resources, access controls, secrets, networking, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot production, staging, and development environment issues.
- Support containerized workloads using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps processes and developer productivity.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum
3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with
AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ECS, EKS, Lambda, or related services.
- Strong experience with
GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with
Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Good understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting, networking, and security basics.
- Experience with Docker and container-based deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first startup environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with
Golang for automation, DevOps tooling, or backend service support.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with security hardening, secrets management, and cloud cost optimization.
- Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or similar systems.
- Experience with multi-environment deployment workflows such as development, staging, and production.
- Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability practices.
