About the Role We are looking for an experienced

DevOps Engineer to help build, manage, and scale our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and deployment workflows. This is a remote position based in India and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a startup environment with ownership, flexibility, and strong growth potential. The candidate should have hands-on experience with

AWS cloud infrastructure ,

GitLab CI/CD pipelines ,

Terraform , and modern DevOps practices. Familiarity with

Golang is also preferred, especially for automation, tooling, and backend service support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on

AWS .

• Build and manage

GitLab CI/CD pipelines for application deployment, testing, and release automation.

• Use

Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code.

• Monitor infrastructure, applications, logs, and system performance.
• Improve deployment reliability, scalability, and security.
• Work with development teams to support application builds, releases, and production operations.
• Automate repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks.
• Manage cloud resources, access controls, secrets, networking, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot production, staging, and development environment issues.
• Support containerized workloads using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps processes and developer productivity.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum

3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with

AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ECS, EKS, Lambda, or related services.

• Strong experience with

GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.

• Hands-on experience with

Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Good understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting, networking, and security basics.
• Experience with Docker and container-based deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first startup environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with

Golang for automation, DevOps tooling, or backend service support.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with security hardening, secrets management, and cloud cost optimization.
• Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or similar systems.
• Experience with multi-environment deployment workflows such as development, staging, and production.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability practices.
