Required Skills & Qualifications Core DevOps Skills 4–7 years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering on cloud/data platforms. Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI). Solid understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies and version control. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).

Databricks Expertise Hands-on experience with Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs). Experience automating cluster policies, job orchestration and environment promotions. Working knowledge of Unity Catalog governance (access, lineage, policies). Cloud Platform Knowledge Experience with Azure and/or AWS services supporting Databricks. Strong understanding of networking (VPC/VNet, Private Link). Familiarity with cloud IAM and access management models. Platform Security Experience with secrets management tools (Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.). Knowledge of identity federation (SCIM, SSO). Hands-on experience with network security configurations.

Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Engineering Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI. Implement Git-based deployment workflows for Databricks assets across multiple environments. Automate testing, validation and promotion across development, staging and production environments. Databricks Platform Engineering Deploy and manage infrastructure using Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs) for scalable, version-controlled deployments. Automate cluster policies, job orchestration and multi-environment promotion. Maintain workspace configurations aligned with platform best practices. Cloud Infrastructure & Integration Work with Azure/AWS services supporting Databricks environments. Configure and manage networking components (VPC/VNet, Private Link). Integrate Databricks with cloud-native services and tools. Governance & Access Control Implement and maintain Unity Catalog governance (access control, lineage, policies). Manage role-based access controls (RBAC) across environments. Support audit and compliance requirements through proper governance visibility. Platform Security Implement secure secrets management practices. Configure identity federation (SCIM provisioning, SSO). Enforce network security (VNet peering, Private Link, firewall rules). Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards across platform components.
