DevOps Engineer

Design, deploy, and run secure AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and CI/CD for applications and AI systems. On-site in Hyderabad. 2–3 years. Up to 6 LPA.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

aiqon is hiring a DevOps Engineer. You will design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable AWS infrastructure, and automate how applications and AI systems are built, released, and operated. The work covers infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, cloud networking, and production reliability. Depending on the week, you may provision environments with Terraform, ship a pipeline, deploy a service or an AI workload, or troubleshoot connectivity into production. This role is on-site in Hyderabad. Minimum experience is 2–3 years. Compensation is up to 6 lakhs per annum.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable AWS infrastructure using EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and other cloud-native services.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management across development, staging, and production.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins for builds, testing, infrastructure deployments, and production releases.
• Deploy and manage applications, including Python/FastAPI, Node.js, React, microservices, Generative AI applications, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI agents using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, ECS, and EKS.
• Apply networking expertise across TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, CIDR, subnetting, routing, NAT, firewalls, load balancing, and AWS VPC architecture, including VPC Peering, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, security groups, and network ACLs.
• Design secure private connectivity using AWS PrivateLink, VPC Endpoints, and VPC Peering, including knowledge of Google Cloud Private Service Access (PSA), Private Service Connect (PSC), and cross-cloud networking.
• Evaluate, procure, deploy, and integrate AWS Marketplace offerings, including third-party networking, security, database, observability, and AI/ML solutions, covering SaaS subscriptions, AMIs, container products, licensing, and private connectivity.
• Build and manage Docker containers, Kubernetes/EKS and ECS deployments, PostgreSQL/Aurora, Redis/ElastiCache, S3, database migrations, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Implement IAM, encryption, Secrets Manager, AWS WAF, network security, vulnerability scanning, and monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Write Python/Bash automation, troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and network issues, optimize cost and performance, support rollbacks, and keep architecture and operational documentation current.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum experience: 2–3 years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability, or a closely related engineering role.
• Compensation: up to 6 lakhs per annum.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
• Experience building and maintaining Terraform across development, staging, and production.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, CIDR and subnetting, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and AWS VPC architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, PostgreSQL or Aurora, Redis or ElastiCache, and S3.
• Ability to write Python or Bash automation and to troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and network issues.
• Based in Hyderabad and available to work on-site.
