DevOps Engineer

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

CI/CD and Release Engineering:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Harness and other DevOps tools.
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
• Implement blue-green, canary, and rolling deployments.
• Improve release quality through automation and governance.

Infrastructure Automation:

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks.
• Automate server provisioning, configuration management, and patching.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

Platform Engineering:

• Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Build reusable deployment templates and self-service DevOps capabilities.
• Standardize DevOps processes across engineering teams.

API Integration and Automation:

• Develop automation solutions using REST APIs.
• Integrate DevOps platforms with source control, ticketing, monitoring, and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot API integrations and optimize automation workflows.

Monitoring and Reliability:

• Implement deployment monitoring and observability practices.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Automate remediation wherever possible.
• Ensure platform reliability, availability, and security compliance.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Work closely with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical governance.

Requirements:

• Mandatory Skills: Ansible, Harness, REST APIs, CI/CD Pipeline Implementation, Git/GitHub/GitLab, Linux Administration, GCP/Cloud Platforms.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
