Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled DevOps Engineer with over 3 years of hands-on experience to join our core engineering team.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our cloud infrastructure, driving automation, enhancing system reliability, and streamlining our software delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a "Cloud-First" environment and is passionate about bridging the gap between development and operations through robust CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Orchestration: Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, automated software delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect and manage scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to eliminate manual intervention.
• Cloud Governance: Manage and monitor multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP),ensuring optimal performance high availability and security.
• Container Management: Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, focusing on scalability and resource efficiency.
• Monitoring & Observability: Proactively monitor system health and uptime using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack, and lead incident response efforts.
• System Hardening: Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols to safeguard production environments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Developers and QA teams to troubleshoot complex deployment issues and improve overall operational efficiency

Technical Qualifications:

• Cloud Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience managing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Containerization: Proven expertise in Docker and production-grade
• Kubernetes management.
• Automation: Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform or Ansible.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Linux Administration: Deep understanding of Linux/Unix internals,
• networking, and security.
• Scripting: Advanced proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell for task
• automation and tool development.
• Logging & Monitoring: Practical experience with observability suites (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK).

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and service mesh (Istio/Linked).
• Experience implementing DevSecOps (Security-as-Code) and vulnerability scanning.
• Industry certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or Cloud Architect certifications.
• Proven track record in Cloud Cost Optimization and performance tuning.

Education & Soft Skills

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Analytical Thinking: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
• Agility: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and fast-paced project requirements.
