Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while driving automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using cloud-native monitoring tools.
• Implement DevOps best practices for release management, configuration management, and incident response.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve reliability.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on expertise in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE).
• Knowledge of Linux administration and Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Ansible or configuration management tools.
• Experience with Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub.
• Exposure to SRE practices and observability tools.
