DevOps Engineer | $80/hr Remote

Position: DevOps Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure using cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments across environments.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate clusters with Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions.
• Ensure robust access management and secrets handling leveraging IAM and secrets management tools.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in Linux system administration and fundamental networking concepts.
• Have hands-on experience with Digital Ocean, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
• Be proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Have knowledge of IAM principles, secrets management, and enforcing security best practices.
• Have experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
