About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled

DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations by driving automation, improving deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and infrastructure automation while collaborating closely with development and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy product releases, updates, and enhancements efficiently across development, staging, and production environments.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, performance bottlenecks, and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop integrations and automation solutions to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Establish and enforce best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), security, monitoring, and cloud governance.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms for modern application deployments.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, cloud migration initiatives, and infrastructure optimization projects.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 - 8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or similar.
• Proficiency in Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket version control systems.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Experience with SQL and database administration concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or container orchestration platforms.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Pulumi.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, New Relic, Splunk, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and cloud-native services.
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
