Development Operations Engineer - Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience to build, maintain, and optimize the deployment pipelines and infrastructure that power our AEM and Spring-based platforms. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure reliable, automated, and repeatable deployments across all environments, and play a key role in driving DevOps culture and CI/CD maturity across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AEM and Spring application deployments.
• Manage and optimize AEM infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
• Automate deployment, configuration management, and environment provisioning processes.
• Monitor system health, application performance, and infrastructure reliability; respond to incidents.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure build artefacts are correctly packaged and deployed (AEM content packages, Spring Boot JARs).
• Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for Spring-based services.
• Provide database support and automation for applications, with a strong preference for SQL Server, including managing deployments, schema changes, performance monitoring, backup and recovery strategies, and integrating database workflows into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Define and enforce security policies for deployment pipelines and cloud environments.
• Maintain environment documentation and runbooks for operational procedures.
• Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and support the team in shifting quality left.
  

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) - including package manager, replication agents, dispatcher configuration, and environment setup.
• Experience deploying Spring Boot applications to cloud or on-premise environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Groovy).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and security best practices.
• Strong Database experience preferably with Azure SQL Server or SQL Server.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) deployments.
• Familiarity with AEM Dispatcher configuration and CDN integration.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, etc.).
• Experience with log aggregation and monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Datadog, Grafana).
