Role overview

We are seeking an SAP consultant to support system conversion and upgrade remediation, with a focus on SPAU and SPAU_ENH activities. The consultant will assess SAP standard changes against existing modifications and implement approved remediation decisions.

Responsibilities

- Analyze upgrade adjustment requirements during system conversion.

- Execute SPAU and SPAU_ENH remediation and document decisions to retain, reset, or adjust modifications.

- Assess impacted custom programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, forms, and function modules.

- Remediate S/4HANA incompatibilities arising from data model simplification and functional changes.

- Analyze HANA-specific findings and resolve ATC findings related to HANA readiness.

- Support transport management, defect investigation, root cause analysis, and fixes for custom developments.

- Unit test remediated objects and support functional teams through SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation.

Candidate profile

- 3 to 4 years of relevant SAP experience, including hands-on SPAU and SPAU_ENH remediation.

- Practical experience with SAP system conversions or upgrades and S/4HANA remediation.

- Familiarity with custom objects, transports, ATC findings, and testing processes.

- Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
