Developer

Job Summary Work as a Developer with four to seven years of experience to design build and enhance secure cloud native applications using Java seventeen Spring Boot React Js Next Js and TypeScript on AWS Cloud. Collaborate in a hybrid work model with cross functional teams to deliver robust services using Gitlab Mongo DB PostgreSQL Redis and Quarkus that support scalable business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern cloud native services by using Java seventeen with Spring Boot and Quarkus on AWS Cloud to deliver secure and scalable business capabilities that align with organizational objectives and customer needs.
• Design and implement resilient REST based application programming interfaces and microservices that integrate PostgreSQL Mongo DB and Redis to provide reliable data access patterns with optimal response times.
• Build intuitive and responsive web interfaces with React Js Next Js and TypeScript to create inclusive user journeys that improve digital adoption and overall satisfaction for diverse user groups.
• Configure and maintain Gitlab repositories including branching and merge workflows to support continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines that reduce release risk and improve delivery frequency.
• Develop and optimize database schemas indexes and queries for PostgreSQL and Mongo DB to ensure efficient data storage patterns predictable performance and maintainable structures that support future growth.
• Implement caching strategies with Redis to reduce latency decrease load on primary data stores and improve the resilience and responsiveness of mission critical application features.
• Apply secure coding standards for Java TypeScript and database access code to protect sensitive information reduce vulnerabilities and comply with internal policies and external regulatory expectations.
• Create automated tests using unit integration and component patterns across backend and frontend modules to strengthen code quality simplify refactoring and support continuous delivery practices.
• Collaborate closely with product owners architects and quality specialists in a hybrid work setup to refine requirements clarify technical assumptions and ensure that delivered features address real business challenges.
• Monitor application health by using logs and metrics on AWS services to detect issues early perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions that enhance stability and service continuity.
• Document application designs configuration decisions and deployment runbooks in clear language to support onboarding of new team members and to ensure reliable maintenance over the product life cycle.
• Participate in code reviews and pair development sessions to share knowledge uphold coding conventions and improve overall team productivity while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support production releases in a planned day shift schedule to validate deployments respond to defects promptly and ensure that customer facing services remain available with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong hands on experience of at least four years with Java seventeen Spring Boot and Quarkus for building scalable and secure backend services within complex enterprise environments.
• Show proven capability using React Js Next Js and TypeScript to deliver maintainable and accessible single page applications that integrate seamlessly with backend services.
• Exhibit practical expertise with AWS Cloud services relevant to application hosting storage and monitoring to design cost conscious and reliable deployment architectures.
• Possess solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Mongo DB including schema design query optimization and migration practices to support transactional and document oriented workloads.
• Display applied experience configuring and using Gitlab for version control and pipeline automation to streamline build test and deployment activities across environments.
• Illustrate competency in using Redis for caching and related patterns to improve response times and manage high read traffic for frequently accessed data.
• Communicate effectively in distributed hybrid teams by sharing status transparently documenting decisions and collaborating constructively with technical and non technical stakeholders.

Certifications Required AWS Certified Developer Associate or equivalent cloud certification - nice to have
