About Position We are looking for a skilled AI/GenAI Engineer with strong experience in Python, FastAPI, and Azure AI ecosystem to design and develop low-latency voice-enabled RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions. The role involves building conversational AI systems with real-time voice interaction and optimising user experience for enterprise use cases.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop RAG pipelines using vector and hybrid search
• Build backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Implement event-driven architectures (event sourcing)
• Work with Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Voice APIs
• Develop low-latency, real-time voice response systems with streaming capability
• Integrate Voice Live API via WebSocket
• Ingest and index structured/unstructured data into AI search systems
• Optimise conversation flow, latency, and voice experience
• Perform end-to-end performance tuning across AI pipelines
• Work on prompt engineering for improved AI response accuracy
• Conduct internal testing for voice quality, response accuracy, and latency
• Support UAT, business validation, and stakeholder demos
• Address defects, bugs, and feedback from testing cycles

Expertise You'll Bring

• Strong programming experience in Python
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Experience with RAG architecture and vector databases
• Knowledge of Microsoft Agent Framework
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search
• Strong understanding of Event Sourcing Architecture
• Hands-on with Cosmos DB
• Expertise in Prompt Engineering
• Knowledge of A2A / MCP protocols
• Experience in building real-time/streaming applications
