Job Summary

We are hiring a Desktop Support Engineer L1 to provide end-user IT support, troubleshoot desktop and laptop issues, and maintain hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1 desktop and end-user technical support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Assist with hardware installation and basic repairs.
• Support Microsoft Office applications and email-related issues.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity problems.
• Assist with user account and password-related issues in Active Directory.
• Install and update approved software applications.
• Maintain IT asset records and document technical issues.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the L2 support team.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
