Desktop Support Engineer

Required Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong understanding of desktop, server, hardware, and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, calibration practices, and asset lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, or other ITSM/documentation platforms.
• Knowledge of ESD controls, laboratory safety standards, and audit requirements.
• Experience with RCA, CAPA, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Experience supporting engineering applications, automation systems, and test platforms.
