Desktop Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, barcode devices, and IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, antivirus, and business applications.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and barcode device issues.
• Manage desktop and laptop patching, security updates, and system maintenance.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, system, application, and email-related issues.
• Configure and support video conferencing and other workplace IT solutions.
• Maintain basic knowledge of UPS systems and electrical earthing for IT equipment support.
• Resolve user issues through phone, email, chat, and remote support within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with L2/L3 support teams, maintain ticket documentation, and provide timely status updates to users.
• Follow IT support procedures, security policies, and operational standards while demonstrating strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
