About this role
Key Responsibilities Furniture Design & Product Development
- Develop new and different furniture models for Acmeview's product range.
- Design modular and customized furniture according to client and architect requirements.
- Develop wardrobes, beds, side tables, TV units, cabinets, storage units, desks, tables, office furniture, hospitality furniture and institutional furniture.
- Create different design options, sizes, configurations and construction details.
- Convert concepts, reference images and 3D designs into practical, manufacturable furniture.
- Prepare accurate and detailed production/shop drawings.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, detailed dimensions, joinery details, construction details, hardware details, material specifications and assembly details.
- Ensure drawings are sufficiently detailed for the workshop team to manufacture the furniture correctly.
- Prepare drawings according to actual project/site dimensions.
- Incorporate architect/client revisions and maintain drawing accuracy.
