Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Designer Draftsman Fabrication & Drawing role based in Maharashtra, India. The role involves preparing detailed fabrication and shop drawings for glazing systems and architectural metal works, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications and design intent. The Designer Draftsman collaborates closely with design engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to interpret architectural drawings, resolve technical issues, and update drawings as required. Daily responsibilities include revising and maintaining drawing documentation, coordinating with site teams on measurement and installation requirements, and adhering to company standards, safety norms, and quality guidelines. The position also requires regular use of CAD and related design tools to optimize façade solutions and support efficient manufacturing and installation processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong CAD and drafting skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings and translating them into detailed fabrication drawings.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of façade, glazing systems, and architectural metal works, including materials, joints, and installation methods.
• Candidates should possess skills in dimensional accuracy, measurement verification, and documentation control for shop drawings.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, fabrication, and site teams.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, or related engineering field is preferred.
• Experience in façade fabrication, building envelope, or related construction industry will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Maharashtra, manage deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced project environment.
