Design Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, space plans, layouts, and detailed working drawings for commercial office interior projects.
• Prepare and review floor plans, ceiling layouts, partition drawings, furniture layouts, and construction details.
• Ensure accuracy of drawings, measurements, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Projects, MEP, 3D Studio, and Procurement teams for design integration and execution requirements.
• Conduct site visits, verify measurements, and resolve design-related issues during execution.
• Manage and guide Junior Designers & draftsmen to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and incorporate approved design changes.
• Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a relevant technical qualification.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in commercial office interiors or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of other design and visualization software is preferred.
• Good understanding of space planning, technical drafting, materials, finishes, and interior execution.
• Strong team management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
