Role & responsibilities

Position Title:

Manager /Sr. Manager Design Engineering

Department: Design Renewable Energy

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee detailed engineering design for solar PV projects, including preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, cable sizing, and detailed electrical design.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants/vendors to ensure accuracy and quality of design deliverables.

• Review technical specifications, equipment drawings, and engineering calculations.

• Provide technical inputs during project execution, procurement, and commissioning stages. Ensure compliance with national and international design standards, safety norms, and industry best practices.

• Optimize design for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and long-term reliability.

• Support feasibility studies, concept designs, and preparation of tender documentation. Skills & Abilities

• Technical expertise in solar PV plant design

• Proficiency in design tools/software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and coordination abilities

• Commitment to quality, safety, and project deadlines

Education & Experience

• Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Energy Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in detailed design engineering of solar/renewable energy projects.

• Hands-on experience in using design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, ETAP, or equivalent. Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, grid integration, and plant performance analysis.
