Design Manager - Rotating Equipment

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design department and drawing office
• Oversee design and development of custom-built rotating and liquid mixing equipment
• Take ownership of end-to-end design activities
• Guide and mentor the design team
• Coordinate with production, projects, and sales teams for design deliverables
• Handle technical interactions with clients and consultants (pre-order discussions & post-order execution support)
• Ensure design quality, timelines, and compliance with requirements
• Review enquiry documents and purchase specifications
• Select appropriate models and estimate materials
• Prepare design calculations and General Arrangement Drawings (GAD)
• Review vendor documents and fabrication drawings
• Prepare offers and resolve technical queries

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong background in design engineering for rotating equipment
• 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
