Design Manager (Pursuit Design)

Role & responsibilities :

• Lead the creative direction and hands-on design development for high-priority new business pursuits, ensuring work is visually compelling, strategically grounded.
• Conceptualize and produce sophisticated design collaterals across print and digital formats, including presentations, infographics, proposals, videos, and other pursuit-related sales assets.
• Translate complex business concepts, data, and messaging into clear, engaging visual communication that strengthens storytelling and client impact.
• Partner closely with senior leaders, pursuit teams, strategists, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop visual solutions that support business goals and elevate the quality of pursuit materials.
• Operate as a senior creative expert and trusted advisor, influencing outcomes through strong design judgment, executive presence, and strategic thinking.
• In collaboration with creative leadership, explore and apply emerging design technologies, platforms, and methodologies to keep work current, differentiated, and effective.
• Leverage advanced Generative AI tools to improve creative exploration, speed, quality, and innovation across complex design assignments.
• Maintain high standards of craft, consistency, and attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, pursuit-driven environment. 
• Present and articulate creative concepts, rationale, and design recommendations to senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
• Contribute to a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement through thought leadership, collaboration, and strong individual execution. 

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), BSc in Visual Communication, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in graphic design, visual communication, or creative direction, with a strong emphasis on hands-on execution.
• Creative design experience with agency is preferred.
• Should possess understanding of pursuit/presales function.
• Demonstrated experience operating as a senior individual contributor in a high-performance creative or marketing environment.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with emerging digital design tools and platforms.
• Exceptional visual storytelling, typography, layout, and information design skills.
• Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into compelling, polished visual solutions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
