Design Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Design corrugated boxes, cartons, trays, partitions, and customized packaging solutions.
• Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings, die-lines, and printing artwork.
• Select appropriate board grades, flute types, GSM, and material combinations.
• Develop prototypes and optimize designs for performance, cost, and material efficiency.
• Coordinate with customers, production, quality, and sales teams for successful implementation.
• Ensure designs are suitable for printing, die-cutting, folding, gluing, and corrugation processes.
• Develop and optimize RSC, FEFCO-style and die-cut packaging designs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of board construction, flute profiles, ECT, BCT, and packaging standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (ArtiosCAD preferred).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of packaging dimensions, tolerances and material optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
