Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Design Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in Creo Sheet Metal Design. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing sheet metal components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using PTC Creo.
• Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
• Perform design modifications based on customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GD&T standards and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams.
• Support prototype development and product validation activities.
• Review engineering drawings and resolve design-related issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in PTC Creo (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Drafting).
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal Design,Weldments, and Fabrication Processes.
• Experience in 2D Drawing Creation and GD&T.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, bending, punching, and welding.
• Knowledge of BOM creation and engineering change management.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Creo and Sheet Metal Design
