Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• You will design and develop control panel systems, ensuring they meet the specific as per client requirements.
• Work on AutoCAD / EPLAN for electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed designs, BOM (Bill of Materials), and documentation.
• Assist in the selection of electrical components, wiring, and PLC programming as needed.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing team for panel assembly and troubleshooting.
• Support installation and commissioning activities when required.
• Design and develop the electrical control systems for automation.
• Analyse client needs and manufacturing processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive system architecture diagrams, including hardware and software components.
• Select appropriate automation components like PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and motion control systems.
• Design control logic and ladder logic programming for PLCs.
• Collaborate with cross functional team like mechanical and software engineers.
• Develop PLC Programs and implement using communication protocols
• Responsible for installation & Commissioning of electrical systems.
• Prepare the Documentations Drawing, and user manuals for automation systems.
• We expect you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions within existing systems while optimizing performance and functionality.

DESIGN ENGINEER

• You shall create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software to guide the manufacturing process of control panels.
• You will conduct thorough testing and validation of designed systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• We expect you to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
• You shall engage in continuous improvement initiatives by staying updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance our product offerings.
• We expect you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
• You will communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• You must have proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or CATIA EPLAN and electrical circuit design for designing control panels.
• We expect you to demonstrate expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering principles relevant to automation systems.
• Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions for diverse industries including automotive and pharma.
• You should possess the ability to design and optimize control panels that adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
• We require you to execute simulations and testing of designs to ensure efficiency and safety before implementation.
• You will be responsible for continuously improving existing products by integrating innovative technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• You must effectively apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot design challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in control panel design or automation projects.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
