Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Design Support:

• Assist in design and development of machinery components and assemblies.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models as per senior engineer guidance.
• Modify existing designs based on project requirements. Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain design documents, BOMs, and drawings.
• Ensure proper data storage and version control in server/ERP systems. Coordination:
• Work closely with senior engineers, production, and other departments.
• Support in resolving shop-floor issues related to design.

Quality Checks:

• Follow design checklists and standards before releasing drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of design outputs.

Learning & Development:

• Gain knowledge of lamination and impregnation processes.
• Stay updated with design tools and engineering practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification, Skills & Knowledge

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks.

Understanding of engineering drawing and GD&T.

Willingness to learn machine design and industrial processes.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Problem-solving attitude.
