Design Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering / Power Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 6+ years of proven experience in HV substation and OHTL engineering, design review, or engineering consultancy roles.
• Strong understanding of HV protection schemes, grid interconnections, and utility requirements, including telecom dependencies.
• Solid knowledge of substation communication systems and IEC 61850 concepts.
• High familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, EN, NFPA) and regional grid codes
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and power system analysis tools such as ETAP and/or DIgSILENT Power Factory.
• Strong technical reporting, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in renewable energy grid interconnection projects (Solar PV, Wind, BESS integration interfaces).
• Involvement in technical tendering, RFǪs/RFPs, and proposal preparation.
