Design Engineer

Job Summary

Greetings from EMDEP Test Boards Pvt Ltd, Pune. EMDEP is a Spanish group in the business of design and manufacturing of test equipment for the automotive wire harnesses. We have a state of the art manufacturing facility in Pune and looking for potential candidates to join our Design team on the premises.

Minimum Requirements

• Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) in Mechanical Design
• Basic knowledge of the Spanish language
• Educational Qualification: BE/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SOLIDWORKS

Key Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for designing assembly testing equipment for wiring harness manufacturing
• Responsibilities include design support and training to other plants in the group
• Design audits of all plants in the group, preparing reports
• Participating in providing input on new developments in design
• Good to have knowledge of Conceptive design, fixture design
• Ability to work independently

Mandatory Skills

• Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) - Mechanical Design specialization
• Designing skills for assembly and testing equipment (specific to wiring harness manufacturing)
• Fixture and conceptual design (preferred but highly relevant)
