Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive components using Creo.
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Work on Sheet Metal and Casting component design and development.
• Apply GD&T and engineering standards in product design.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, and Supplier teams.
• Support prototype development, design validation, and engineering changes.
• Ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, cost optimization, and quality requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with internal and customer teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Creo (Part Modeling, Assembly, Drafting).
• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal Design and Casting Design.
• Understanding of GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up, and Engineering Drawings.
• Knowledge of Automotive product development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in BOM creation and Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECR/ECO).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
