Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sheet metal parts using CATIA V5/V6, CAD modeling, and other relevant software tools.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and product documentation as per customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability/Assembly) studies to optimize designs for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of designs.
• Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, requirement gathering, and design reviews to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
• Support engineering change management, issue resolution, and product development activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in Sheet Metal Design Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, CATIA V6, CAD Modeling, GD&T, Part Modeling, and Drawing Creation/Detailing.
• Experience in sheet metal component design and development.
• Strong understanding of client interaction, customer requirement handling, technical discussions, and project meetings.
• Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to coordinate directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
