Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sheet metal components, parts, and assemblies using Creo Parametric.
• Create and modify 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Develop flat patterns, bend/unbend features, and sheet metal designs as per specifications.
• Apply GD&T, tolerances, and design standards to ensure manufacturability and functionality.
• Perform design validation, interference checks, and tolerance stack-up where required.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, design documentation, and engineering change records.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, and Production teams for design feasibility.
• Ensure designs are suitable for fabrication, stamping, bending, welding, and assembly processes.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in Sheet Metal Design and Product Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Creo Parametric / PTC Creo, particularly the Sheet Metal module.
• Good knowledge of 3D modelling, assembly design, 2D detailing, and engineering drawings.
• Experience in sheet metal components, fabrication, bending, stamping, welding, and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances, DFM/DFA, and design standards.
