Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Design and develop solar PV systems based on project and site requirements.
• Prepare layouts, electrical schematics, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and PVsyst.
• Perform system sizing, energy yield calculations, and design optimization.
• Prepare designs and technical documentation for tender projects.
• Develop designs for ground-mounted solar projects.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and installation teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and safety requirements.
• Support installation teams in design-related troubleshooting and project handover.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 26 years of experience in Solar PV Design.
• Must have experience working on Tender Projects and Ground-Mount Solar Projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD and PVsyst; HelioScope/Google SketchUp knowledge is preferred.
• Good understanding of PV system sizing, solar modules, inverters, and electrical wiring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
