Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and maintain 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed component, assembly, layout, and fabrication drawings as per project requirements.
• Interpret engineering specifications and convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BoM) for engineering projects.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial quotations for gauges, transmitters, and other instrumentation/engineering products.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and other relevant teams to ensure drawings and documentation meet project requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable engineering standards.
• Make necessary revisions to drawings based on design changes, project requirements, or feedback from internal teams.

Preferred Skills

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and 2D drafting.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in BoM preparation and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of quotation preparation for gauges, transmitters, and related products.
• Good understanding of mechanical/production engineering drawings and fabrication requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
