Job Summary

We are looking for a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in UG NX and Sheet Metal Design, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using UG NX.
• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for automotive applications.
• Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Perform design modifications based on engineering and customer requirements.
• Develop sheet metal parts considering bending, forming, thickness, bend allowance, and manufacturability.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and design specifications.
• Support design validation and resolve design-related issues.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Follow automotive design standards and documentation processes.

Mandatory Skills

• UG NX – Mandatory
• Sheet Metal Design – Mandatory
• 1+ years of Automotive Industry experience – Mandatory
• Strong knowledge of 3D Modelling & 2D Drafting
• Good knowledge of GD&T
• Experience in automotive component/assembly design
• Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication processes
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and design standards

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related discipline.
