Design Engineer

• The position is responsible for planning, designing and developing car manufacturing lines digitally using Tecnomatix Process Simulate & Process Designer/ Delmia Robotics as per customer standards.
• It ensures accurate creation of process, resources for the digital manufacturing.
• Assist in planning & simulation of Digital Manufacturing projects.
• Develop libraries of 3D components, resources, products, layout, welding guns and production operations.

Description

• Planning and Simulation of Digital Manufacturing projects and deliver milestones
• Evaluate, optimize and workout details for decision making of the production line and their alternative concepts.
• Develop knowledge in different digital factory software to support other projects, production equipment, Robotics & automation technologies
• Develop libraries of 3D components such as resources, products, layout, welding guns
• Project documentation

Skills Required

Hands-on experience in:

1. Tecnomatix Process simulate

2.  Tecnomatix Process Designer

3. 3DX/ Delmia Robotics

Knowledge of:

1. Robotics

2. Manufacturing

3. Automation

4. Automotive Manufacturing Processes

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•  Good communication and teamwork abilities
•  Design knowledge (added advantage)
