Design Engineer (Structural Calculations) - Mechanical

We are looking for aMechanical Design Engineerto join our engineering team and support the design and development of mechanical systems and products. The role involves creating engineering designs, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop3D models and 2D manufacturing drawingsusing SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

• Executeproject-specific engineering designsbased on technical specifications and industry standards.

• Preparetechnical documentation, including GA drawings, BoMs, manufacturing documentation, and as-built documentation.

• Performmechanical and structural calculationsto validate engineering designs.

• Modify and improveexisting standard productsto meet project requirements.

• Coordinate withproduction and supply chain teamsto ensure smooth manufacturing and delivery.

• Participate indesign reviewsand provide technical input on engineering solutions.

• Supportnew product development and design improvements.

• Ensure compliance withrelevant standards and internal engineering guidelines.

• Assist in resolvingmanufacturing and technical issuesduring project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

• 5+years of experiencein mechanical design

• Strong experience withSolidWorks and AutoCAD

• Experience withmechanical/structural calculations

• Good understanding ofmanufacturing processes such as fabrication and welding
