Design Engineer - Solidworks

Role & responsibilities

• Work on concept design, styling and product development activities.
  
• Develop and modify CAD designs as per project requirements.
  
• Support interior design and styling activities.
  
• Work on components/products involving trims and plastics.
  
• Create and interpret 3D CAD models and engineering designs.
  
• Coordinate with engineering and product development teams for design requirements.
  
• Apply knowledge of SolidWorks/CAD software for product design and development.
  
• Participate in CAD/CAO testing as required.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Automotive
  
• Home Appliances
  
• Consumer/Personal Products
  
• Other product design and development industries
  

Candidate Profile:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks/CAD.
  
• Experience/knowledge in interior design, styling, trims and plastic components will be preferred.
  
• Candidates with exposure to concept design and product development are preferred.
