Title: Design Engineer - Tool Design

Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

Role:

• Design Progressive & Stage tools for sheet metal components.
• Handle sheet thickness ranging from 0.10 mm to 5.00 mm.
• Develop innovative and productivity-focused tool designs.
• Follow ISO documentation procedures.
• Guide and mentor junior designers.
• Coordinate with the tool development team for design improvements.

Required Skills:

• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Unigraphics/NX.
• Knowledge of tool steels and standard die components (Misumi, Fibro, etc.).
• Understanding of ferrous/non-ferrous sheet metal properties and tool material selection.
• Strong focus on right-first-time design approach. \

Qualification: Post Diploma / Postgraduate in Tool Design (NTTF/GTTC/PSG preferred)
