Job Summary

Keeps abreast of current technology trends, supports the Power Electronics technical roadmap, and Power Electronics strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Experience with world-class simulation platforms and modelling best practices (managing libraries, version control, flexible modelling techniques, etc)
• Detail-oriented work standards and ability to abstract and present meaningful results
• Create, Correlate & Maintain Detailed Power Electronics Component / System Models
• Support Power Electronics Designers in Optimizing Component & Systems
• Semiconductor Selection, Bus Bar Design, Capacitor Selection, PCB Design, Sensors & Magnetics
• Multi Goal Optimization such as Cost, Robustness, Weight, Space Claim & Control Stability
• Predict System / Component Losses, Temperatures & Life Given Various Load Profiles
• Support NPI, NTI, CPI, and Cost Reduction programs to meet quality and performance targets
• Drive knowledge management including developing standard work and automating processes
• Ongoing professional development including seminars, training, and courses as needed
• Support development of global VPD strategy for Electric Drive components

Qualifications

• Degree required: B.Tech/B.E/M.E/M.Tech
• Experience required: 5-10 Years
• This job requires working from office 5 days in a week.
