Design Engineer (iOS and Android)

Senior Mobile Engineer with expertise in both iOS and Android Six+ month contract - W2 (ONLY - no C2C or 3rd Parties) 100% Remote Pay: $75.00/hr - USD $90.00/hr.

Must Have

• Strong mobile development experience with production apps on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficient in iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Proficient in Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experienced with mobile design tools such as Figma, design systems, and prototyping tools.
• Comfortable using analytics and experimentation platforms to inform product decisions.
• Skilled with mobile Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, and crash monitoring tools. Seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer with expertise in both iOS and Android to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in bringing high-quality, customer-centric mobile features from concept to production.

Responsibilities/Deliverables

• Build and ship customer-facing mobile features from concept through to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely with design teams to implement pixel-perfect, visually compelling user experiences.
• Continuously improve onboarding flows, user engagement, and core mobile user journeys.
• Develop and maintain reusable mobile UI components and assets for our design system.
• Rapidly prototype new product ideas to validate concepts quickly.
• Elevate quality standards for interaction design, motion, accessibility, and overall app performance.
• Streamline iteration cycles between design, product management, and engineering teams to enhance speed and alignment.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong mobile development experience with production apps on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience in AI-native tech environments and/or leveraging AI for development/engineering approach.
• Proficient in iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Proficient in Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experienced with mobile design tools such as Figma, design systems, and prototyping tools.
• Comfortable using analytics and experimentation platforms to inform product decisions.
• Skilled with mobile Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, and crash monitoring tools. The estimated pay range for this position is USD $75.00/hr - USD $90.00/hr.
