Design Engineer for PS-CC/EDT-IN

Job Description

Purpose of this position is to execute BU specific product design for customers according to set standards

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical)
.- Masters in engineering (desirable)

Additional Information

2+ years experience in product design/simulation

Basic knowledge on product design, design calculations & simulation. Good proficiency with CADsoftware (preferably UG-NX), GD&T

Product Design:Provide cost effective design solutions for customerrequirement based on set guidelines (both during Acquisitionstage and product development stage). Participate customerdiscussions during alignment meetings. Document experiencegained during design tenure.

CFT support:Provide necessary design support/solutions during DFMA,DFMEA, localization, series topics, benchmarking, fixturesdesigns

Nature of work calls for the candidate to be flexible and agile, with high customer/project orientation. Candidate should be able to work in teams to achieve the results.
