Job Title: Design Engineer – Catalogue Development (Job level P1) Job Profile SECO Product Information team is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join the Digital Design & Data Support team at Pune, India. The position requires strong skills in catalogue development, product visualization, and digital publishing to support global product launches and customer information. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality catalogue content by integrating product information, engineering data, and digital assets while ensuring compliance with Seco branding guidelines, publishing standards, and quality requirements.
Position Responsibilities Create, maintain, and update catalogue pages, guide pages, and digital publishing content for new product launches and portfolio updates. Prepare catalogue layouts by integrating product information, engineering data, product images, technical illustrations, and visual assets. Create and enhance product images, callouts, annotations, and other digital assets to support catalogue and customer communication. Ensure all catalogue content complies with Seco branding guidelines, typography standards, visual identity, and publishing requirements. Support catalogue readiness by validating product information, technical content, images, and digital assets prior to publication. Work collaboratively with Product Information, Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Design teams to ensure catalogue content is technically accurate, visually consistent, and delivered on schedule. Maintain organized project files, templates, digital assets, and version control throughout the catalogue development lifecycle. Responsible for achieving team KPIs and delivering catalogue projects within agreed timelines. Identify opportunities to improve catalogue quality, efficiency, and digital publishing processes through standardization and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Strong experience in catalogue creation, page layout, and digital publishing. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, KeyShot , and Microsoft Office. Basic understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical products. Experience working with product information, digital assets, and publishing workflows. Knowledge of PLM/PIM systems (Enovia, STIBO or equivalent) is an added advantage. Knowledge of Translation Management Systems (Trados) is an added advantage. Knowledge of cutting tools or manufacturing products is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with strong visual communication skills. Good interpersonal skills, customer-focused mindset, result-oriented, innovative, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline. Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in catalogue creation, digital publishing, technical documentation, or product visualization. Good written and verbal communication skills.
