Design Engineer-BIW

Position: BIW Design Engineer
Experience: 1-3 Years
Location: Pune
Domain: Automotive Body-in-White (BIW)

The candidate should have hands-on experience in CATIA V5 and PLM tools, with exposure to sheet metal components, vehicle structure design, and engineering change management processes.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design, Drafting).
• Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA, Windchill, or equivalent.
• Understanding of BIW systems, sheet metal design, and welding concepts.
• Knowledge of GD&T and automotive drawing standards.
• Familiarity with BOM management and design release processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
