Design Engineer 1

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design fiber network infrastructure using Fiber Network Design tools such as Fiber Optic Cable Sizing Tool (FOCST) and Splicing Calculator.
• Create cable route plans, pathways, and trench layouts for optimal installation efficiency.
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine the most cost-effective solution for clients' needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support during site surveys and on-site installations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience in civil engineering or related field with expertise in fiber optics/FTTH/FTTX networks.
• B.Tech degree in Computers or equivalent qualification; knowledge of Civil 3D software an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of telecom industry standards and regulations; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
