Designation: Design Drawing Checker
Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Reporting To: AGM – Design

Job Responsibilities

1. Check GA, fabrication, assembly, structural, foundation, and equipment layout drawings.
2. Verify dimensions, elevations, clearances, tolerances, and technical accuracy.
3. Ensure drawings comply with approved layouts, design calculations, project specifications, and applicable IS standards.
4. Check BOM, material specifications, quantities, and fabrication details.
5. Identify drawing errors, missing information, interferences, and site installation issues.
6. Verify coordination between mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical drawings.
7. Check drawing revisions and ensure incorporation of client comments.
8. Coordinate with design engineers for corrections and improvements.
9. Ensure drawings are complete and correct before submission for final approval.
10. Maintain drawing checking records and minimize manufacturing and site rework.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of conveyors, elevators, silos, hoppers, mixers, ducting, and industrial equipment.
• Understanding of fabrication, welding, steel structures, and installation practices.
• Knowledge of IS standards, BOM verification, and drawing revision control.
• Good technical coordination and problem-solving skills.

Software : Autocad, Solid Edge, Solid Works ,Autocad 3D/2D, 3D Modelling, 3D Drafting
