DESGN For Reliabily LEAD

Role & responsibilities :

• Drive Design for Reliability (DfR) activities throughout the product development lifecycle for sensor and electronic products.
• Define reliability requirements, validation strategies, and risk mitigation plans based on customer and application needs.
• Perform reliability analysis including FIT rate estimation, MTTF calculations, Weibull analysis, FMEDA, and FTA.
• Lead reliability testing such as HALT, HAST, ALT, accelerated stress testing, and environmental validation.
• Analyze test and field failure data to identify reliability risks and improve product robustness.
• Partner with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams to drive reliability improvements.
• Support Functional Safety, DOE, DFMEA, and reliability-focused design reviews.
• Develop reliability best practices, guidelines, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7+ years of experience in Reliability Engineering for automotive electronics, sensors, or mechatronic products.
• Strong expertise in reliability prediction, testing, validation, and risk assessment.
• Hands-on experience with FIT rate estimation, MTTF/MTBF calculations, and reliability modeling.
• Proficient in Weibull Analysis, FMEDA, FTA, Chi-Square Statistics, and Failure Analysis.
• Experience in reliability validation, accelerated life testing, and product reliability improvement.
• Exposure to automotive product development and Functional Safety is preferred.
