Role & responsibilities

Patient consultation and assessment

• Take medical and hair-loss history.
• Examine the scalp and donor area.
• Determine the type and stage of hair loss.
• Assess whether the patient is a suitable candidate for transplantation.

Medical and surgical responsibility

• Evaluate relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, and contraindications.
• Prescribe or manage appropriate medications when indicated.
• Perform or directly supervise critical surgical steps according to local regulations and professional standards.
• Maintain appropriate aseptic technique and patient safety throughout the procedure.
