Deputy Planning Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update baseline project schedules (using Primavera P6 / MS Project) for all ongoing projects.
• Support tendering and bidding teams by preparing preliminary schedules, manpower histograms, and resource loading plans.
• Coordinate with site planning engineers for weekly/monthly project updates.
• Analyse critical paths, forecast completion dates, and highlight potential risks or delays to management.
• Prepare consolidated MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Work closely with project managers, contracts, and procurement teams to align schedules with material delivery and subcontractor timelines.
• Monitor productivity rates, progress vs. plan, and recommend recovery measures where required.
• Support claims, extension of time (EOT) submissions, and delay analysis reports.
• Implement standard planning systems, templates, and processes across all projects.
• Ensure compliance with organizational planning policies and reporting requirements.
• Train and guide site planning engineers on planning tools and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

1- Must required residential and commercial experience.

2- 4 years of experience and Primavera 6 knowledge is must.
