About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Ensure Prompt month closing, preparation of Profit and Loss Account and Balance sheet and ensure month-on-month successful and accurate loading of the trial balance in the corporate portal along with other necessary reports on or before the appropriate day fixed by management.
- Analysis, the variance between the actual accounting figure with that of the forecast/budget and report the management the reason for variations.
- Motivate and monitor the finance team in earlier completion of month close activity ahead of loading day.
- Ensure compliance of Minimum Control Procedures
- Manage internal audit; statutory audit and compliance audit
- Manage Business plan and forecast.
