Deputy Manager - Supplier Quality - Electrical

Role & responsibilities

• Expertise in inspection of Transformers, inverters, circuit breakers, HT/LT panels, cables, switchyard & substation equipment.
• Due diligence, testing, and validation of electrical equipment.
• Timely inspections with adherence to defined TATs.
• Validation of Manufacturing Quality Plans and compliance monitoring.
• Root Cause Analysis validation, corrective & preventive action implementation.
• Field failure investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversight of inspection agencies and compliance assurance.
• Departmental planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Conducting Supplier audits and ensuring supply chain quality compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong expertise in Vendor Development & Supplier Quality Management.
• Proficiency in Product Testing, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance.
• Experience in Supplier Audits & Assessments.

Preferred Background

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in power, renewable energy, EPC, electrical equipment manufacturing, or utility industries.
