Deputy Manager- Sourcing (Packaging)

Role Objective

The role requires the incumbent to do sourcing for the strategic accounts across sectors by acquiring & managing relevant brands, vendors & suppliers. We are looking for a true techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges. He will be expected to scale up the Supplier base & vendor operations and ensure optimization of inventory & pricing.

Role Responsibilities

• Supplier/ Vendor management across different product categories in PACKAGING industry
• Vendor Onboarding: Adding new vendors and categories proactively by constantly improving Quality, Cost and Delivery terms with suppliers across India
• Driving standardization: Ensuring standardization of products, process and pricing

Essential Requirement

-5-9 years of experience in Strategic Procurement/ Vendor Management with minimum 1 - 3 years in Packaging procurement

-Excellent vendor development skills. We should have deep-rooted networks in the supplier markets across categories in manufacturing packaging (e.g.

Cartons, Tapes, Flexi etc.)

-B.Tech+ MBA from Tier-2/3 college or IIP
